Hold off on adding soil when the pit needs to be raised 6" or more. WaterOne will need to assess the situation and may not be able to complete any work if the pit is covered.
Wait to start building a wall until WaterOne has assessed the situation. If the new wall interferes with the pit, you may, at your own expense, be required to remove the wall for the pit work to be completed.
Areas around the pit where soil has settled or washed away are the responsibility of the customer to fill in. WaterOne will repair any erosion caused by our work.
