Jim Trimble

As Director of Information Technology, Jim is responsible for strategic leadership, implementation, and support of the organization’s technology and information system iniatives. He oversees planning, directing, and management of WaterOne’s Enterprise Solutions, Application Development Services, Enterprise Geographic Information Systems (GIS), IT Project Management, and Service Desk teams. Jim’s focus is on leading cross-functional efforts to support modern, efficient, and accessible technology solutions for WaterOne and its customers.  

Jim has been with WaterOne since 2019, serving in numerous leadership roles in Information Technology. Prior to WaterOne, Jim served at Burns & McDonnell for 17 years in progressively responsible roles in GIS and IT services.  

Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Earth Science from the University of Central Missouri, a Masters of Science in Resource Planning from Missouri State University, an MBA in Management Information Systems from UMKC, and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School Water & Wastewater Leadership Center.
